Mary C. Timcheck, 95, formerly of Washington D.C. died Tuesday, April 8, 2008 at 12:06 p.m. at The Fairways, Brookline Village, State College.
She was born May 28, 1912 in Star Junction, a daughter of Vincent and Mary Stupinski. In June 1930 she married John Timcheck. He died April 18, 1981.
Surviving are 2 daughters, Agnes Timcheck of Washington, D.C., Mary Roman of Virginia, 2 sons, Paul Timcheck and wife Theresia of Port Matilda, Thomas Timcheck and wife Barbara of Perryopolis, 18 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Timcheck was a member of St. Domenick Catholic Church, Washington, D.C.
Known as Baba she was accomplished in crocheting and enjoyed baking cookies and growing her “posies”.
Funeral Mass will be held Friday, April 11, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Matthew Catholic Church, Tyrone with Fr. Joseph T. Orr Celebrant. Interment will be at Resurrection Cemetery, Clinton, Maryland. Friends will be received on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Feller Memorial Home.
