Fell asleep while driving
On April 4, state police reported Greg Zearfoss of Hummelstown, PA was traveling north on I-99, approximately one half mile of the Tyrone exit in Snyder Twp. when he fell asleep while driving. His vehicle went into the median and the left side struck some guardrails. Zearfoss was not injured, but was cited for failing to drive on roadways laned for traffic. He was wearing a seat belt.

Damaged mailbox post
State police reported on April 5 that unknown actor(s) arrived on Decker Hollow Road in Snyder Twp. in a pick-up truck and damaged a mailbox post owned by Wendy Ann Woodring of RD 3, Tyrone. Woodring told police she heard the vehicle outside and looked out, but the actor(s) fled when she yelled at them.

Mechanical failure
On April 6, state police reported a crash when Brian A. Supenia, 19, Warriors Mark was traveling north on SR 350 in Snyder Twp. Supenia experienced a mechanical failure in his vehicle, which caused him to travel off the roadway and strike the east guardrail barrier; causing initial impact and moderate damage to the right front of his vehicle. Supenia was wearing a seat belt and no injuries were reported. Passengers Joshua P. Clancy, 20, Washington D.C. and Joshua A. Waite, 19, Warriors Mark also were wearing seat belts. No injuries were reported for either passenger.
