Mr. Frank R. Hughes, age 80, of Altoona died Thursday, April 3, 2008 at 12:20 p.m. at his home.
He was born August 12, 1927 in Williamsburg, the son of James and Anna Hughes and was one of 13 children.
On June 30, 1966 at Huntingdon he was married to Sue L. Williams who survives. Also surviving is one daughter, Amy McMullen of Altoona.
He was a veteran of service in the US Army during the Korean conflict. Mr. Hughes was a blacksmith with Penn Public Spring Services of Altoona, retiring in 1989.
There will be no public visitation. Private funeral service followed by interment in Grandview Cemetery, Tyrone, will be held at the convenience of the family.
