The Tyrone Community preschool classes hosted a Winter Family Fun Night on February 21. Approximately 300 people attended this event that was held in the gym. During Family Fun Night, children got to make their own ice cream, eat a snow cone, make snowflakes, play in the “snow” and test out a blubber glove. The Creature Teacher, Jody Wallace, was also on hand to show off some skulls and furs. In addition to the fun activities, parents were asked to sign letters to the legislators urging their continued support of Early Childhood Education. (Courtesy photo)
