Access device fraud
On April 28, state police reported that unknown actor(s) used Bellwood resident Irene R. Focht’s credit card number and withdrew money electronically from her checking account without authorization. Total amount taken was $516.93. The investigation is ongoing.

Stole scrap metal
State police reported a theft on May 4 that occurred at 3510 Huntingdon Furnace Road in Warriors Mark Twp. Unknown actor(s) removed several pieces of scrap metal, which was part of an old crane, on the property of the victim, William Markley II of Tyrone. After removing the metal, the actor(s) fled the scene in an unknown direction. Anyone with information on this case is asked to contact PA State Police at 814-627-3161.

Broke mirror
On May 5, state police reported that an unknown actor broke the passenger side mirrors of a vehicle owned by Robert W. Himes of Tyrone. The incident occurred along SR 865 in Antis Twp., sometime between May 2-5.

Copper taken
State police reported on May 7 that sometime during the past month, someone cut and stole copper pipe going from propane tanks to the foundation of a cabin off Cedar Hill Rd. in Woodbury Twp, owned by Harriet Grier of Tyrone. Approximate loss was estimated at $700 worth of propane lost, along with the copper piping.
