The Tyrone Area girls volleyball team hosted the Huntingdon Lady Bearcats on Thursday evening. The Lady ‘Cats proved rude visitors taking every game which was played, knocking off the Tyrone girls varsity squad in straight sets 25-2, 25-17 and 25-19.
Chelsea Brockett had four service points for the Lady Eagles. Jess Miller added three service points and Lindsay Christine and Jess Markel each added two service points.
Huntingdon’s Julie Fye has 12 service points to lead Huntingdon (14-4 overall, a perfect 7-0 in the Mt. League), and Sarah Ritchey added nine.
The Huntingdon junior varsity defeated Tyrone 25-10 and 25-14.
