State police are investigating an ongoing harassment case in Sinking Valley, Tyrone Township.
Police said an unidentified victim has been receiving phone calls where the caller hangs up. The incidents started in the first week of July and continued through Tuesday.

A Tyrone woman and another driver both escaped injury in a two-vehicle accident on I-99 in the northbound construction zone in Snyder Township on July 19 at 1:55 p.m.
Police said 47-year-old Carol L. Hampton of State College was slowing her vehicle for stopped traffic and was hit in the rear by a vehicle operated by 47-year-old Barbra G. Curley.
Both drivers were wearing seat belts. Curley’s SUV had severe damage while Hampton’s pick-up truck had minor damage.

State police are investigating the theft of a motor home from the J and B Car Lot in Bald Eagle, Snyder Township, which happened sometime this past weekend.
While leaving the lot, the thief struck three cars that were for sale on the lot. State police from Lamar recovered the motor home along Interstate 80.
The motor home owned by Huey Jones of State College was being stored at the lot owned by Bernie Sherwin of Tyrone.

An Antis township woman reported a theft that happened sometime between 10 p.m. on Monday and 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday.
Police said Louann Closson said the right-front wheel and tire of her car were taken from her car that was parked at an apartment building on Parkway Drive.

A man reported the theft of gasoline during the overnight hours on Wednesday from his farm property located on State Route 865 in Antis Township .
Police said Rick Sprankle said someone took about 2 and 1/2 gallons of gas valued at about $7 from his riding lawn mower.

Two men and two juveniles have been accused in a theft case that happened at Caracciolla’s Scrap Yard in Antis Township on Wednesday at noon.
Police said the four were allegedly trespassing on the property located along the NorFolk Southern Railroad tracks. They allegedly took a large piece of aluminum and then took it to Caracciolla’s Scrap Yard and tried to sell it to them.
The victim recognized the item as being his property. The two men: John Thomas Albright of Altoona, Donald Christopher Dodson of Cresson and the two juveniles were all charged with theft, trespass and conspiracy.
