Criminal Mischief
On September 13, state police said that a nine-year-old juvenile male threw two rocks into two windows at the Port Matilda Elementary School at 209 Locust St., in Port Matilda Borough. The windows were broken because of the rocks.

DUI Crash
State police reported on September 14 that Dawn Marie Clapper, 42, Tyrone was arrested for DUI at the intersection of SR 4023 and Bel-Tip Road in Antis Township, after being involved in a minor one vehicle crash. Clapper left the roadway while attempting a right turn and went into a large ditch prior to a railroad crossing. Charges to be filed at the office of Magisterial District Judge Fred B. Miller for DUI and related traffic offenses.

Retail Theft
On September 14, state police stated that a young black male driving a silver SUV committed a “gas drive-off” at the Snappy’s store located at the intersection of SR 350 and SR 220 in Bald Eagle, Snyder Township. The suspect pumped $46.01 worth of fuel without paying, then fled the scene with other persons in an unknown direction. Investigation is continuing.
