Larry Paul Reese, 63, of 986 Reese Road, Warriors Mark, died Tuesday, September 16, 2008 at his residence after an extended illness.
He was born November 25, 1944 at Philipsburg, Pa. a son of Anna H. (Shirk) and the late Paul C. Reese.
He attended the Tyrone Area High School and served in the US Navy.
He married Carol Skupine of Coalport, Pa. He was employed by Earthmovers and later retired from Conrail Railroad.
Surviving are his wife, Carol; daughter, Sherry L. Reese; son, Steve P. Reese; grandson, Kip C. Gault, all of Warriors Mark; his mother, Anna H. Reese of Tyrone and brothers Joseph M. Reese of Tyrone and James L. Reese of Altoona. He was preceded in death by his father, Paul C. Reese and grandson, Tylor “Jake” Reese.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with family and friends.
Funeral services will be held Friday, September 19, 2008 at 1 p.m. at the Derman Funeral Home, Inc., Tyrone, with Pastor Tim Miller officiating. Interment will be at Bald Eagle Cemetery.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. and one hour before the service on Friday.
