The Central PA Wolves freshmen ice hockey team slammed Bishop Guilfoyle 6-0 at Galactic Ice on Friday, March 3.
The Wolves jumped out to a 3-0 advantage after the opening period and following a scoreless middle stanza, opened up with three more tallies in the third period to complete the rampage.
While Central PA goal keeper Matt Erlichman (Bedford) stopped all 10 of the Little Marauders shots on goal, the Wolves peppered Bishop Guilfoyle goalie Cody Kreps with 33 shots, with Kreps stopping 27 of them.
Zachary Donnor (Tyrone) punched in the first goal for the Wolves, unassisted and Justin Howard (Tyrone)added the second, also unassisted.
Kody Blevins (Bedford) took over from there, scoring the first of three goals on the night, off an assist from Brett Hillman (Williamsburg).
Neither team could find the net in the second period, although the Wolves certainly made up for that in the final period.
Blevins made it two goals in a row with an assist from Michael Brenneman (Tyrone) and came back with the final goal of the game later with an assist from Adam Erlichman (Bedford) for his hat trick. In between, Howard added his second goal of the game with an assist from Donnor.
