The Bellwood-Antis junior high girls basketball team made the long trip to Spring Mills on Monday night only to get handed a 55-33 defeat by the Penns Valley Lady Rams.
Emily Sinisi poured in a team-high 13 points to lead the Lady Blue Devils, Crixella Jones added five points and and Emily Derr, Alycia Hippo and Laura Cherry each put in four points.
Penns Valley remained undefeated (2-0) behind 18 points from Maria Andrews and 13 from Kendyl Paolini.
The Bellwood-Antis girls (1-1) will travel to Claysburg-Kimmel today for a 4 p.m. tipoff against the Lady Bulldogs junior high girls squad, before hosting Moshannon Valley on Thursday in the B-A Middle School gym.
