The Tyrone Area Chamber of Commerce has announced plans for its annual golf tournament to be held Thursday, September 22 at the Sinking Valley Country Club.
The registration deadline is September 9. Those registered can sign in from 10 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. on the day of the tournament.
An 11 a.m. shotgun start will send out four-person scramble teams.
Team fees are $400 for four players, and individual fees are $125 per player.
Holes can be sponsored for $100 each. This includes the name of the sponsor business on one of the 18 holes to be played during the tournament. Golfers will have a chance to win a prize by identifying all the hole sponsors.
Corporate sponsorships are available at $850 and include four golfers, corporate logo on the golf shirt and recognition. Corporate sponsors will also have the opportunity to display a corporate banner at the tournament.
Hole in one sponsorships are available, giving sponsors the opportunity to place a car, cash or vacation at three different holes.
The sign and logo deadline for sponsored holes is August 19.
The golf package includes 18 holes of golf with carts, course refreshments and snacks, golf shirts, golf balls and door prizes. A buffet dinner will be offered immediately following golf.
Prizes will be awarded after dinner. Players will have chances to win prizes with the longest drives on holes nine and 18, closest to the pin on holes two and 16, straightest drives on holes four and 14 and total score prizes for first and second place teams.
Door prizes and a raffle drawing will be awarded during dinner, along with prizes for holes-in-one.
