Mrs. Lou Ann Taylor, 51, Kingdom St., Tyrone RD5, died unexpectedly Wednesday, February 23, 2005 at Tyrone Hospital Emergency Room.
She was born September 9, 1953 in Altoona, a daughter of Winfield and Pauline (Wilson) Snyder. She married Ray D. Taylor on November 29, 1974 in Tyrone.
Mrs. Taylor is survived by her husband; daughters: Amanda McFarland of Bellwood and Jessica and Pam, both at home; a son: Jordan, at home; three grandchildren: Maria, Ian and Wyatt McFarland; her mother of Tipton; sisters: Barb Robison of DuBois and Pam Turnbaugh of Poplar, Mt.
She was preceded in death by her father and a twin sister, Sue Ann, who died at birth.
She was employed as a receptionist at Dr. Robert J. Sloss, General Dentistry, Tyrone.
Mrs. Taylor was a member of Tipton United Methodist Church.
She enjoyed walking, crafting with her grandchildren and reading.
Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., Friday, February 25, at the Jon C. Russin Funeral Home, Bellwood.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, February 26, 2005 at the funeral home by Rev. Robert Kennedy.
Interment at Blair Memorial Park, Antis Township.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in Lou Ann’s memory may be made to Tipton United Methodist Church.
