Mrs. Ruth E. McCully, 66, of RD3, Box 442, Tyrone, PA, died at 11:37 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 25, 2005 at the Tyrone Hospital Emergency Room.
She was born Sept. 29, 1938 at Hollidaysburg, a daughter of Charles and Mary (Feathers) Fawks.
She was married Feb. 28, 1962 in Altoona to Raymond W. McCully. She is survived by her husband, three daughters and one son.
Vanessa McClellan of Tyrone; Nancy Miller and her husband Robert of Tyrone; Mary Ringler and her husband Silas of Claysburg and Raymond W., Jr. of RD 3, Tyrone.
She is also survived by five grandchildren, three sisters and two brothers: Donna Thompson, Altoona; Patricia Fisher, Frankfort, NY; Sylvia Shaw, Florida; Abraham Fawks, Myrtle Beach, SC; Kenneth Fawks, Altoona.
She was a homemaker, enjoyed her cats, bird watching, collecting baskets and trivets.
She was once employed at the former L.S.T. in Tyrone.
Funeral services were held Monday, Feb. 28, 2005 at 11 a.m. at the Derman Funeral Home, Inc., Tyrone with Rev. Bernard Bookhammer officiating.
Interment in Allport Cemetery, Clearfield Co.
Friends were received at the funeral home Sunday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
