A Tyrone man died in a one-vehicle accident on State Route 865, one-tenth of a mile north of State Route 4015 in Antis Township on Saturday afternoon.
The crash occurred when 40-year-old Todd Allen Datres was traveling north on the road at 3:40 p.m. His car crossed over the double center yellow line, traveled across the south lane and into the west shoulder area.
As a result, the car’s front struck a tree.
Datres was pronounced dead at the scene by Blair County Coroner, Patty Ross. Datres was not wearing a seat belt, according to police.
Datres’ car had severe damage. Police are continuing their investigation.
