The Tyrone Community Players will be participating in Tyrone’s Victorian Christmas Celebration scheduled for December 4.
Their building, which is located at 1019 Logan Avenue, will be open between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. with numerous vendors and activities.
Lee Schopp, a local artist, will display her homemade dolls, snowmen, bears, and quilts. Everyone is encouraged to stop in to see her creations for a unique gift for that special person.
Suzi Walls, local author, will be available for signing her book, Dress Blues. Suzi’s gift for writing is refreshing. For many years, her husband, Lee, has told his stories in a downhome-humor, gut-busting style. Wanting to share his stories, Suzi has turned them into her first published novel. Also, Suzi writes a column titled “Life’s Coloring Book”, which appears weekly in The Daily Herald.
Darcy Wilson, local Pampered Chef consultant, will be holding a fundraiser for Tyrone Community Players as well. A percentage of her sales received during the Victorian Christmas Celebration will be donated to TCP.
TCP’s Cafe will be open to serve delicious soup and sandwiches. The menu for the day includes: hot sausage sandwich, meatball sandwich, ham and corn chowder, coffee, soda and hot chocolate. Also, TCP’s world famous fudge will be for sale, and orders will be taken for those who want to give it for a Christmas gift.
A special area will be available for children to enjoy the day too.
