The Tyrone Christmas parade is scheduled for this Thursday at 6:15 p.m., following the tree lighting ceremony.
As in previous years, Tyrone Milling will be bringing Santa Claus to the parade, so look for the four-horse hitch that will carry Santa through town.
Santa will be bringing an extra special treat this year, magical reindeer feed, so make sure the kids all get a bit to take home.
The magical food should be sprinkled on the front lawn on Christmas Eve, then the kids go off to bed.
When Santa and his sleigh flies overhead, Rudolph and his reindeer friends will smell the magic food and land right in the yard.
Don’t forget to leave milk and cookies for Santa and the elves too.
Tyrone Milling will also be providing carriage rides all day Saturday to help celebrate Tyrone’s first ever Victorian Christmas.
The carriage will carry passengers from the Rail Park, throughout town, for an exciting new view of Tyrone.
Individuals wishing to enjoy a carriage ride through Tyrone can go to the Rail Park.
Rides will be given throughout the day. Also at the Rail Park, there will be several displays at the Tyrone History Museum including a lantern and light display and a model house display.
