About Him Ministries is proud to present A New Year’s Eve gospel music celebration at the Tyrone Area High School cafeteria.
Appearing in concert will be The Songsters of Akron, The Masters of Nanty Glo, Joe Tomlinson of Langhorne and About Him Ministries featuring Bill and Judy Jones of Tyrone.
A full course dinner featuring roast beef, chicken, mashed potatoes, vegetable, salad, roll, fruit cup and beverage is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m., and the concert is scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m. The concert will be over at approximately 10:30 p.m. so that those in attendance can be home by midnight or can go to scheduled midnight church services.
The ticket price for both dinner and concert is $20 per person, and tickets for concert only are $12 per person.
The deadline for purchasing dinner and concert tickets is December 14. After that date, tickets will be available for the concert only.
Seating will be limited to 200 people, so get tickets fast. Church groups, Sunday School classes and others may reserve a table. There will be eight people seated to a table.
Bill Jones of About Him Ministries would like to especially thank Dr. William Miller and the Tyrone Area School District for allowing the use of the cafeteria and for all of the school’s cooperation.
“This is some of the best talent in gospel music on the East Coast,” explained Jones. “It’s an alternative for a Christian New Year’s Eve.”
Jones added, “We would like this to be an annual thing, depending on the turn-out and support. We hope the churches will back us, and we hope the town will support it.”
Upcoming events for About Him Ministries include a hymn sing at the First Assembly of God Church on November 14. About Him Ministries also recently released their fourth CD and have had the opportunity to share the stage with some wonderful people throughout the year.
