The Mission committee of the Sinking Valley Presbyterian Church located at Arch Spring, two miles west of Route 453 on the Kettle Road, would like to invite everyone to a dinner tomorrow from 5-7 p.m.
The dinner is scheduled in order to raise money for the work of the missionaries, Rodney and Sharyn Babe, in Haiti.
The menu will feature Italian specialties and a wide array of salads and desserts.
Each year, a summer school is held for Haitian children, grades kindergarten through sixth. Not only do the children have an opportunity to learn, but it is a major help to their nutritional status.
Each child who attends receives a daily vitamin tablet, and both breakfast and lunch at school. The money that is earned from the dinner will provide for the cost of the vitamins and food.
There is no charge for the dinner; contributions to the project will be gratefully accepted.
