A major drug bust today in Blair County has netted 47 people, according to agent Randy Feathers of the Blair County Drug Task Force.
Feathers indicated some of the suspects are from Northern Blair County including some from the Tyrone area. He was unable to elaborate on suspects’ names or how many were actually from the Tyrone area.
He also offered no details on how much or what types of drugs were involved. He indicated more than 100 officers participated in the investigation which led to the arrests which spanned from the northern to southern part of the county.
A press conference was slated for this morning at the Frankstown Armory to provide additional details.
