The Tyrone swim teams met Huntingdon in the Tyrone Area High School pool on Monday night to finish their regular season. The Eagle boys team knocked off the Bearcats 87-57 to finish 6-7, while the Lady Eagles were overwhelmed by the Huntingdon counterparts 100-57 to fall to 1-12.
The Tyrone boys won seven of the 11 events and swam the best times in two others that were exhibition.
Eric Nulton led the Tyrone men with firsts in the 200 freestyle and 100 butterly, Zac Yeaton won the 200 IM, Ted Feller won the 100 freestyle and 200 medley relay, Brian Pearson won the 100 backstroke and the four combined to win the 200 medley relay. Chris Bradigan won the 50 freestyle.
Matt Elder was second in the 200 IM and 100 breaststroke, Feller was second in the 50 freestyle, Bradigan finished second in the 100 freestyle, Pearson was second in the 500 freestyle and Yeaton was second in the 100 breaststroke.
Glen Brown won the 500 freestyle and Matt Long won the 100 breaststroke to lead Huntingdon.
On the girls side, the Lady Eagles were shut out without a win until the final four events. Erica Rumberger, Ashley Gilliland, Leah Cherry and Lea Otto won the 200 free relay, Jeri Harper won the 100 backstroke and the team of Zoe Yeaton, Paige Black, Cherry and Harper won the 400 freestyle relay.
Black was second in the 100 freestyle and Gilliland was second in the 100 breaststroke.
Jenny Bair led the Lady Bearcats with firsts in the 200 IM and 100 breaststroke.
