Republican Bob Walker ran away with the election for Antis Township Supervisor.
Walker received the most votes for the six-year-term. Walker had a total of 865 votes with Democrat Dennis R. Himes Sr. finishing second with 450 votes totaled from the three voting districts that make up Antis Township.
In Bellwood Borough Republican Kenneth D. Conrad was the high vote winner with 238 votes or 40.96 percent. He is joined on council for the next four years by Democrat John H. Gunsallus at 186 votes or 32.01 percent and a successful write in candidate who secured 157 votes. Officials at the Blair County Courthouse could not verify who the successful write in candidate was at press time.
There were no contested races for Bellwood-Antis School Board of Directors.
