Antis Township leaf collection begins today and runs through Friday, November 21.
Monday collections include the Bellmeade and Pinecroft areas. Wednesday collections include the Tipton area. Friday collections cover the Bellwood area of the township. All yard waste must be placed in brown paper bags or raked to the edge of your property by 7 a.m. on the day of collection. There is no brush collection.
Tyrone Borough leaf collections borough-wide occur every Monday started October 13 and will end December 8.
Bellwood Borough collects leaves curbside each Friday. The last day for collection is Nov. 28.
Remember:
•Leaves may be in any paper bags. These can be grocery bags or the large lawn and leaf bags that are available at local stores .
•Bags over 50 pounds will not be collected.
•Items other than those specified will not be collected.
•Do not use tape to seal the bag but fold the top down to close it.
•Bags should be placed on the curb by 7 a.m. on the day of collection.
There will be no pick-ups in alleys.
The Blair County Compost Facility will accept brush, grass clippings, leaves and yard waste year-round during hours of operation. All fees apply.
