Michael Spencer Geist entered into eternal rest on Saturday, August 30, 2003.
Mike was born August 27, 1975 to Ronald and Marcea Geist in Great Falls, Montana. Mike attended Wellsville High School in New York until the age of 16 after which he attended Monacan High School, Midlothian, Va., where he graduated in 1993.
He was training to be a truck driver for Schneider Trucking. Michael left us his loving wife, Trina Barefoot Geist; his daughter Erin Marie; his son Bradley (Bud); his brother Ron and sister Mary of Richmond, Va.
He is also survived by his paternal grandparents Beverly P. Hackett of Rushford, NY., Bill and Nettie Geist of Bald Eagle and Maternal grandparents Beverly Hackett of Rushford, NY., and Gilbert Hackett of Seffner, Fla., and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Mike’s memory will live with us through his wonderful family. He left us with precious memories that we will never forget.
Mike lives on through the eyes of his daughter Erin Marie.
Funeral services were held at the Mechanicsville Chapel of Bennett Funeral Home8014 Lee Davis Road, Mechanicsville, Va. on September 4, 2003. Interment was private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Erin Marie Geist Trust Fund, P.O. Box 1542, Mechanicsville, Va. 23116.
