DelGrosso Amusement Park will once again be hosting the Native American POW Wow this weekend.
The event, held rain or shine, runs both Saturday 10 a.m. To 9 p.m. and Sunday 10 a.m. To 6 p.m.
Bring your lawn chairs and enjoy the native American exhibition and competition, along with dancing, singing and drumming in full regalia. One of the highlights of both days is the grand entry and opening ceremonies featured twice on Saturday at noon and 6 p.m. and once on Sunday at 12 noon.
The daily competitions will feature intertribal dancing and competition dancing. A master of ceremonies will help educate the public on the dances they are viewing. All competition winners will be announced on Sunday at 5 p.m.
There will also be native American arts and crafts available for sale throughout the weekend and DelGrosso Amusement Park offers free parking.
Hundreds of people attend this annual event each year. Parking and admission to the park is free.
