The Tyrone Hospital Development Council is also pleased to welcome Donna Isenberg as a member.
Ms. Isenberg is a native of Tyrone and also a current resident. She is employed at The Home Nursing Agency where she is the Behavioral Health Support Services Manager.
“I want to be part of the Development Council because it supports my hometown hospital. In this day and age hospitals are faced with tremendous challenges,” said Isenberg. “Tyrone Hospital is a valuable healthcare resource to Northern Blair County and surrounding areas. I want to work with others to help assure that the support the hospital has had all these years prevails.”
Ms. Isenberg is also involved in the Tyrone Rotary Club where she serves as a director, as well as a past President of the club. She has also served on the Board of Director’s of the Blair County Wildlife Rehabilitation Center. She also chaired and organized Tyrone’s first Yuletime celebration.
Randy Miles, Sr., chairman of the Tyrone Hospital Development Council said Ms. Isenberg and other council members bring a wealth of experience and ideas.
“The additional manpower and leadership will support the continued growth and diversification of our efforts to support Tyrone Hospital,” said Miles.
He said the goal of the Tyrone Hospital Development Council is to promote the healing mission of Tyrone Hospital while offering a variety of programs and fund raising events to assist in various capital improvement projects.
“Members of the Development Council are people committed to the goal of assuring the quality of health care provided will continue to keep pace with the needs of an entire community poised for continued growth,” Miles said. “People like us, who work together to achieve a shared goal or vision can produce uncommon results.”
Other members of the development council are Marcie Lewis of Tyrone, Ann Dillon of Dillon Trucking; Judy Barry, LPN at Tyrone Medical Associates; Robin Garman, office manager at the Women’s Health Center of Tyrone; Denise Kay, nurse practitioner at the Women’s Health Center of Tyrone; Jennifer Liddick of Reliance Bank and Mount Nittany Candle Company; Sunda Baney, RN at Tyrone Hospital; and Theresa Yanchetz of Tyrone Hospital.
