P. Joanne Verbinski, 72, of Old Mill Road, Wyomissing, died February 2, 2003 at 11:30 p.m. in Reading Hospital, where she had been a patient since January 22.
Her husband, Dr. Ted Verbinski, died January 25, 1988.
Born in Tyrone, she was the daughter of the late Dr. Edward and Virginia (Grazer) Shoemaker.
A registered nurse, Mrs. Verbinski was employed by the Philadelphia Veterans Hospital.
She was a graduate of Tyrone High School and the Thomas Jefferson Medical University, Philadelphia.
She was a member of the Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, West Reading.
Surviving are a daughter Susan (Verbinski) Brown of Pottstown and a son Adam J., of Wyomissing.
Other survivors include a brother Harry Shoemaker of Norwich, N.Y.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, February 7, 2003 at 10 a.m. in Sacred Heart Church. Entombment will be in Gethsemane Cemetery Mausoleum, Laureldale.
