Eric Nulton won the 200 freestyle and 500 freestyle and was a member of the winning 200 medley relay and 200 free relay to pace the Tyrone boys swim team to a 90-80 win over Westmont-Hilltop. Waged in the Tyrone pool, the boys improve their record on the season to 5-1.
The Tyrone girls lost to Westmont-Hilltop 111-54 to fall to 2-4.
Nulton was joined on the 200 medley relay by Brian Pearson, Trevor Harbst and Brian McManigal. Evan Stover won the 50 yard freestyle for the Golden Eagles and the team of Dave Collins, McManigal, Nulton and Stover took the 200 free relay.
McManigal also copped second places in both the 200 IM and 100 free, Collins was second in the 100 butterfly and the 100 breaststroke, Brian Pearson was second in the 100 backstroke and part of the second place 400 free relay team along with Collins, Stover and Brian Jones.
Jeri Harper was the Lady Eagles sole winner with a victory in the 200 IM. Harper also finished second in the 100 backstroke and Zoe Yeaton (200 free), Katie Frye (500 free) and Emily Albright (100 breaststroke) also had second place finishes.
