John Ramsey (3-0) won their third straight game in the Tyrone Area YMCA Sunday Girls Basketball League defeating VFW 27-15, Kiley Dick led John Ramsey with 10 points and Jenna Morgan had nine. Liz Erickson fronted VFW (1-2) with a game-high 13 points.
State Farm improved their record to 2-1 defeating Med-Center Pharmacy by a 34-11 count. Rachel Emigh led the way for State Farm with a league-high 20 points, Marah Mingle added six and Breanna Hoover and Stephanie Miler each chipped in four points. For Mid Center Pharmacy (0-3) Paris Harden had six points and Leigha Stewart had five points.
In the third game, O’s Sew Shop (2-1) limited Elks (1-2) to single digits with a 26-9 win. Ashley Lechner led O’s Sew Shop with 14 points and Laura Cherry and Amy Lewis contributed six and four points respectively. Bethany Mertiff had eight of Elks nine points.

Joshua House (11-1) continued their winning ways with a pair of triumphs over Mavericks. In Game One, Steve James scored 16 points for Joshua House in a 33-19 win, while John Miller and Doug Savino each had eight points for Mavericks. In the second game, James fronted Joshua House with a league-high 20 points in a 32-19 triumph. Miller led Mavericks (4-8) with 10 points.
In the only other games played on Monday, Team # 5 and Evergreen Farms split a pair of games. Evergreen Farms took the first 33-25 behind 16 points by Travis Anderson, while Jim Lightner was high for Team # 5 with 10 points. In the second contest, Team # 5 (9-3) got 15 points from Jim Koeller in a 32-30 win over Evergreen Farms (7-5), who received 13 points from Anderson.
Old Timers (6-6) picked up two forfeit wins from J-House (6-6) and Team # 7 received two forfeit wins from P. S. Printing (0-12).

Joshua House defeated Team # 7 twice to extend their league-leading mark to 13-1 on Wednesday. Steve James led the first game 32-10 win for Joshua House with 16 markers and Jim Kilmartin fronted the winners with 18 points in the second contest. Jason Helsel led Team # 7 (5-9) with seven points in the opener and 11 more in the nightcap.
Evergreen Farms took a pair of games from P. S. Printing to improve their record to 9-5. In Game One, Evergreen Farms downed P. S. Printing 33-19 with Travis Anderson netting 16 points for Evergreen Farms and Ken Diebold leading P. S. Printing with nine. Game Two was a 34-21 win for Evergreen Farms behind 18 points for Anderson, with Fred Miller scoring 15 for P. S. Printing (0-14).
J- House (7-7) and Team # 5 (10-4) split with J-House topping Team # 5 in Game One with Nick Cushion leading the way with 22 points for J-House and Kurt Melton scoring nine points for Team # 5. The second game was a 32-27 win for Team # 5 with Jim Koeller netting 22 points for the winners and Earl Lake leading J-House with 12.
In the other pair, Mavericks split with Old Timers. Mavericks (5-9) won the first game 33-30 in a high-scoring affair with Mike Ashcroft scoring 20 while Ed Farabaugh’s game-high 21 led Old Timers. In the second contest, Old Timers (7-7) won 33-26 behind Don Wagner’s 19 points and Ashcroft led Mavericks with 17 points.
