John Ramsey, CPA won their second straight game to jump out to the lead in the Girls Basketball League, the only undefeated team left after just two weeks of play. John Ramsey, CPA defeated State Farm 18-10
Kylie Dick led the way for John Ramsey, CPA with 10 points and Jenna Morgan added eight. Rachel Emigh score eight points for State Farm, who had their record evened at 1-1.
O’s Sew Shop improved to 1-1 with a 34-21 win, the highest-scoring game this week, dropping Mid-Center Pharmacy to 0-2. Ashley Lechner fronted O’s Sew Shop with a league-high 24 points and Amy Lewis added eight points. Paris Harden led Mid-Center Pharmacy with 15 points and Leigh Stewart chipped in six points.
VFW trimmed Elks 20-8 in the other game on the schedule with a well balanced attack. Liz Erickson scored eight points, Suzanne Zimmerman six and Jenna Nevling four for the winners. Bethany Mertiff scored five points to lead Elks. Both these teams are now 1-1.

Joshua House won two the easy way via forfeit over Old Timers (2-6) to raise their undefeated record to 8-0 to maintain a two-game lead over Team # 5.
Team # 5 (6-2) also picked up a pair of victories besting P. S. Printing 33-14 in the first contest and 32-19 in the nightcap. In Game One, Kurt Melton led Team # 5 with 16 points, while Frank Fedeli fronted P. S. Printing with eight points. In the second game, Melton topped Team # 5 with 14 and Fedeli had eight again for P. S. Printing who falls to 0-8.
Evergreen Farms and J-House split a pair with Evergreen Farms taking the first game 34-23 with Travis Anderson netting 19 for Evergreen Farms and Mark Kosoglow leading J-House with 14 points.
In Game Two, J-House came back to earn a split for the night edging Evergreen Farms by a point 32-31. Earl Lake led the victors with 18 points and Anderson was high for Evergreen Farms again with a league-best 24. Evergreen Farms and J-House are both 5-3.
In the final set of games, Team # 7 and Mavericks split a pair with each squad getting a two-point win. Team # 7 got the first-game triumph 32-30 with Jason Helsel leading the way with 15 points for Team # 7 and Mike Ashcroft gunning in 16 for Mavericks.
In the second game, Mavericks took the 33-31 win behind 21 points by Ashcroft. Helsel fronted Team # 7 with 10 points. Both Mavericks and Team # 7 have 3-5 records.

Evergreen Farms and Joshua House split a pair of games with Evergreen Farms knocking off Joshua House for their first loss, leaving no undefeated teams left in the 3 ON 3 League.
Evergreen Farms was led by Travis Anderson with 17 points in their 33-27 win, while Lance Grimes fronted Joshua House with 10 points.
In the second contest, Joshua House (9-1) returned the favor defeating Evergreen Farms (6-4) 32-27. Jim Kilmartin had 14 points for the winners and Jarrod Anderson led Evergreen Farms with 14 points.
Team # 5 (8-2) closed to within one game of Joshua House in the battle for the league lead with two wins over Team # 7 (3-7).
In Game One, Jim Koeller had 14 points for Team # 5 in a 34-23 win, while Jason Helsel netted eight points for Team # 7. In the second game, Koeller scored 17 points in a 32-24 win for Team # 5 and Helsel led Team # 7 with 10 points.
Mavericks (4-6) and J-House (6-4) split a pair of games.
Mike Ashcroft poured in a league-best 21 points in a 33-29 win for Mavericks. J-House was led by Earl Lake with 11 markers. In Game Two, Steve Bryan’s 15 points helped J-House defeat Mavericks 33-23, while Ashcroft had nine points for Mavericks.
Old Timers (4-6) received two wins via forfeit against P. S. Printing (0-10).
