Bellwood-Antis downed Penns Valley 24-31 and Philipsburg-Osceola 17-46 to improve their record to 8-1.
Aaron Bell led the Blue Devils with a third place finish overall with a time of 18:17, behind Penns Valley’s top runner, Brooker, who finished in 17:32. Hollidaysburg’s Nate Sylvester won the race with a time of 17:21
Kyle Shiffler (8th in 19:13) and Will Edwards (10th in 19:35) also cracked the top 10 in the race, which included Hollidaysburg. Bellwood-Antis and Hollidaysburg had already raced, so they did not run against each other for points on Tuesday.
The Bellwood-Antis girls team dropped matches to Penns Valley 15-50 and Philipsburg-Osceola 15-50.
Allison Cherry won the race in a time of 21:06 but was the only Bellwood-Antis Lady Blue Devil to finish in the top 10.
The B-A cross country teams travel to Indian Valley next Tuesday, Oct. 1, beginning at 4 p.m.
