Don’t miss out on a fantastic chicken barbecue dinner on August 1, 2008 at the Tyrone Community Day picnic at DelGrosso’s Amusement Park. Enjoy a great dinner from 5 to 6:30 p.m. at the pavilion’s near the stage.
This year, there will be an advanced ticket purchase for the chicken barbecue which are available at the Tyrone Chamber and other local businesses starting Monday, July 7, 2008. Chicken dinners will also be available the day of the picnic and will be first come, first serve.
The longer the residents wait, the less chicken dinners will be available, so get an advanced ticket to ensure a dinner reservation for the picnic.
There will be several events leading up to the chicken dinner including a Champion Mini-Golf Tournament, ride pass distribution at the main ticket plaza-adjacent to Murf’s patio, children’s games in the center of the park, a Tyrone talent search and a Tyrone Community Raffle where prizes are donated to be raffled off at the picnic.
The TACP Committee 2008 thanks all of the Tyrone community for their support and offer a wonderful evening to those who come to DelGrosso’s for the picnic. There will be delicious food, games and prizes for all who attend and also a free ride and slide pass will be distributed for all students who attended Tyrone throughout the 2007-08 school year. All of the sponsors who helped make this happen are greatly appreciated and hope that this year’s Tyrone Community Day is the best yet!
