In a quad golf match at Sylvan Hills on Thursday afternoon, the Tyrone golf team played Altoona, Bishop Guilfoyle and Bellefonte.
Altoona’s Kevin Foose and Bellefonte’s Denny Glunt posted matching totals of 78 to share medalist honors in the quad.
Altoona moved to 7-1 with three wins.
Tyrone defeated BG 364-368 in a close match, but dropped decisions to Altoona 364-328 and Bellefonte 364-347.
Ryan Ruschio had the best score for the Golden Eagles, carding an 87, followed by Matt Brooks with 88, Jason Tuskovich with a 90 and Eril Loose with a 99.
Tyrone (3-6) will participate in the Johnstown Invitational on Monday, Sept. 18 and then travel to Central Mountain for a match on Wednesday, Sept. 20.
