It’s that time of year again, with Christmas on the way, holiday bazaars are beginning to take center stage in the area.
The Presbyterian Homes’ Auxiliary will hold their Holiday Bazaar, starting at 9 a.m., Saturday, November 13.
Organizers of the event said individuals can “look for some unique additions this year as you browse the quality gift items, the beautiful handmade crafts, the ‘white elephant’ section and don’t forget the baked goods.”
The bazaar will all be held in the stately seventh floor “ballroom” of the Presbyterian Homes’ Moshannon Heights facility. Located on Presqueisle Street in downtown Philipsburg, the Home inhabits the historic Philips Hotel. There will be decorations, entertainers, and individuals can even stop by for lunch. On the menu will be sloppy joes, hotdogs, drinks, desserts and the Auxiliary’s “world famous” vegetable soup.
Santa is scheduled to visit the event from 1 to 3:30 p.m. for photos with the kids.
The Presbyterian Homes’ Auxiliary invites everyone to bring a friend for a great time. It’s a great shopping event, a great social event and all proceeds directly benefit the residents of the Presbyterian Homes.
