The Bellwood-Antis girls volleyball traveled to Alexandria Monday night.
The Lady Blue Devils continued their impressive season with a win over Juniata Valley in three straight games by scoresh scores of 25-4, 25-10, 25-9. to improve their record to their record to 13-1 overall.
Lindsay Dearing led with 29 service points, including nine aces and 14 assists. Stephanie Hatch added seven blocks and nine kills, while Lauren Carter added an additional 11 service points.
“I am very pleased at how well our girls played tonight,” said Bellwood-Antis coach Jennel Miller. “Our goal was to go out there and get a quick win, which we were able to do. With our strong serving, we kept the pace of the game at our level and got the job done. We are working towards the division title in our conference, and this is just one more important step in reaching that goal.”
The junior varsity also brought it’s record to 13-1 by winning two straight games over the Lady Hornets by scores of25-16, 25-15.
Katlyn Palmer and Meredith Palmer each had four points and two aces.
Bellwood-Antis puts out the welcome mat for Holidaysburg on Wednesday for their next match at 6 p.m.
