Not content with their first loss earlier in the week, the Bellwood-Antis girls volleyball team went to Claysburg on a mission. The Lady Blue Devils dropped the first game, gthen came back to squash Claysburg-Kimmel in three straight games to begin a new win streak
Bellwood-Antis (7-1) lost the opening game 25-19, but that seemed to give the Lady Blue Devils a wakeup call. B-A made quick work of the Lady Bulldogs 25-18, 25-16 and 25-1.
Stephanie Hatch led the B-A girls with 13 service points and Lauren Carter added 10 points. Lindsay Dearing contributed eight service points and Elyse Schreckengost had seven.
Kate Glass led Claysburg-Kimmel with nine service points.
Bellwood-Antis travels to Philipsburg for the Philipsburg-Osceola Invitational on Saturday, beginning at 9 a.m., then hosts West Branch on Monday at 6 p.m.
