The Bellwood-Antis girls volleyball team extended it’s perfect record to 4-0 on Thursday night with win over Glendale in three straight games.
The Lady Devils romped to a first game win 25-6, then took the following two games 25-20 and 25-14.
Lauren Carter led the Lady Blue Devils with 13 service points. Trista Sprankle added 10 service points to go with 11 kills and six blocks from Stephanie Hatch. Haley Crider added nine points.
The Blue Devil Junior varsity also recorded their fourth straight victory in two quick games, 25-8, 25-20.
The Lady Blue Devils will participate in the Saint Francis Invitaional on Saturday beginning at 9 a.m. The Loretta tournament will be the largest high school girls volleyball tournament in District VI history and will feature 20 teams from District VI, one each from V and District III. Altoona and State Collegr will split their squads into two teams to give a total of 24 teams for the tournament.
