The Tyrone golf team traveled to Scotch Valley on Wednesday for a tri-meet against Hollidaysburg and Indian Valley.
The Golden Eagle linksters came out on the low end of the totem pole dropping decisions to the hosts 326-357 and Indian Valley 349-357.
Although the Eagles dropped both decisions to fall to 3-3 on the season, Tyrone’s Jim Gillam earned medalists honors with a score of 78. Gillam played the front nine in 40, then came home with a 38 on the back nine.
Thad Westley carded an 83 and Derrick Soellner an 87.
David DeGol topped Hollidaysburg with an 81, followed by Dennis DeGol with an 83.
Josh Frankhauser led Indian Valley with an 82 and Andy Wilson carded an 84.
Thad Westley had the best total on the front nine with a 39, while Dennis DeGol and Frankhauser had the low score on the back nine with 36s. Westley was golfer to best 40 on the front nine.
