The Bellwood-Antis High School volleyball team dropped a tough match to West Branch on Tuesday evening.
The Lady Blue Devils fell to 4-3 on the season, while West Branch improves to 6-3.
West Branch won in two straight games defeating B-A 15-7, 16-14, although the Lady Blue Devils nearly forced a tgird game with a thrilling effort in game two.
Ashley Smith led the Lady Blue Devils with six service points, followed by Stephanie Hatch with five points and jmie Miller with four. Jamie Miller also contributed seven kills to lead the squad.
West Branch was led by Mollie White and Haley White with seven service points each.
The Bellwood-Antis junior varsity won again to stretch their season record to 6-1.
Heather Shura led the way to 15-1, 15-5 victories with 14 consecutive service points, including four aces.
The next match for the B-A girls volleyball teams will be Thursday, Sept. 26, at home against Williamsburg at 6p.m.
